Graduate Teaching Assistant & Teacher of Record
As part of my graduate program at Illinois State University, I was offered the opportunity to serve as both a teaching assistant and a Teacher of Record. As a GTA, I assisted professors with grading assignments, leading workshops, preparing course materials for the art education department, managing inventory, and supporting students in their professional development. As the Teacher of Record for a section of ART 204, I developed curriculum, built strong student–teacher relationships, provided feedback on projects, and worked independently to lead a college-level course.

As the TA for Art 204: Arts for Elementary Schools, I had the opportunity to build two media and technique workshop days for the students. One Wet Media Day and one Dry Media Day. Students learned printmaking, painting, drawing, color mixing, and mixed media techniques
